What to Expect

Appointments may be booked through the patient portal on my website. Initial appointments last 75 minutes and follow up appointments last around 60 minutes.
After you book your first appointment , you will be asked to fill out an extensive questionnaire regarding your child or yourself. You can download this questionnaire from my website and bring it filled out to your first visit. In addition you should bring any copies of labs and medical consults for me to review and scan into the chart at the first appointment. The initial appointment consists of reviewing the medical history and sometimes doing a physical exam. I almost always order several labs at this visit.
The next appointment usually takes place around 2 to 3 weeks later and and consists of a review of all of the laboratory results and a resulting plan for nutrient supplementation. Lifestyle and dietary recommendations may also be given.
Appointments are then scheduled every 8 to 10 weeks and we adjust nutrients as necessary and recheck labs after around 3 months. Improvement usually occurs within a few months.

Please contact your health insurance company before your first visit in order to decided if you want the labs from Lab Corp to be billed through your insurance or through my account. I order labs on all of my patients through Lab Corp. The labs cost about $300.00 to $350.00 through my account, but if your insurance company is billed by Lab Corp, the same labs may be billed at a cost of $1500 or so.
